muziek - Nâm Feast of Lesser Light

21 december 2018

Transcending concert met Alexander Gustave van Breemen 'The Peace Singer', celliste Maya Fridman (Rusland), Terence Samson (percussie, o.v.b.), Laura van der Craats (vocals, gitaar), Andjanie Krsna (Kathak dans) en Tim Remie (vocals).

A TRANSCENDING CONCERT IN THE LINE OF ANCIENT MYSTICAL MUSIC, CLASSICAL MUSIC, INDIAN KATHAK DANCE AND UPLIFTING CHANTS.

The turning of the sun is an event in which all beings share and in which humanity, since ancient times, has celebrated life itself as a state that is universal. The Nâm Feast of Lesser Light is a representation of the Natural Human State, of the realisation that everything is connected in One and in which beauty and elegance as well as tolerance and peace are reflected in music, song, mystical poetry, dance and universal chants.

Alexander Gustave van Breemen 'The Peace Singer' (from the hitsong 'The Road Ahead', City to City), who travels the world with his instrument 'Buraq' and award winning, multi-talented, Russian cellist Maya Friedman join up for the first time to combine their musical inspiration for a transcending concert. They perform with Laura van de Craats (vocals, guitar), Evelien Fokker (cello), Terence Samson (percussion), Andjanie Krsna (kathak dance) and others.

East and West are embracing in this uplifting and inspired program that is concluded with singing along a universal chant, which is a deep and joyful happening that lifts us all beyond our daily state.

The Nâm Feast of Lesser Light is a sharing in joy and peace in which all people, regardless of culture and background, are united.
